GoPro 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Goes on a Rampage 07-11-2014

While Chevrolet is enjoying the success of its fifth-generation Camaro with the Commemorative Edition, tuners are turning their attention to classic models to steal the show. GoPro teamed up with the Roadster Shop for one of the hottest cars at this year's SEMA Show, a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro that they nicknamed "Rampage." The attention to detail on this machine is some of the best in the sea of custom cars in Las Vegas with carbon fiber fender flares to accommodate the massive 335/30/18 tires from Hoosier. Wheels on the Rampage come courtesy of Jongbloed sporting a two-piece design with a gold anodized finish. If you look carefully, you'll also notice that the carbon fiber bits don't stop at the fenders as the Roadster Shop also gave the classic Camaro body a carbon fiber front bumper, hood, trunk lid, rockers and diffusers. Powering the Camaro is a 7.0-liter LS7 that has been transformed to provide 750 hp while mated to a sideways Jerico five-speed transmission. Controlling all the electronics in this beast is a Motec engine management system, not to be confused with the "Motec System Exhaust" Fast and Furious made infamously popular.
